Organisation
- • Two adjacent boxes with 3 attackers in each box.
- • Three defenders: two pressing in the active zone, one in the middle.
- • A narrow 5m central channel where one attacker can drop in to receive.
Rules
- • Switching the ball to the other box via a player in the central channel = 1 point.
- • Aerial or long balls over the central channel do not count.
- • On transition/turnover, the three defenders swap roles with the three attackers who lost possession.
Coaching points
- • Player between the lines: position yourself on the blind side of the defenders.
- • Scan over your shoulder before receiving so you can turn immediately on the half-turn.
- • Active box: circulate possession until the passing lane opens up, do not force the pass.
- • Break the line with a firm, well-weighted pass.
Variations
- • Easier: 7v3.
- • Harder: 6v4 with two defenders in the central channel.
- • After scoring a point, the receiver can finish into a mini goal immediately.
